Massachusetts is having a primary election on Tuesday, September 1, but due to the crisis caused by the novel coronavirus, we have passed legislation to provide 3 different ways to vote: (1) in person on September 1st, (2) in person during early voting hours, and (3) vote by mail.

Below is key information for residents of Needham, Medfield, and Dover to safely exercise their right to vote.

Key Deadlines

The deadline to register to vote was August 22. The deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot is August 26. All completed ballots must be returned to the town by 8:00pm on September 1.

Needham

Early Voting Location: Needham Town Hall, 1471 Highland Avenue, Needham, MA.

  • Tuesday, August 25: 9:00am to 5:00pm
  • Wednesday, August 26: 9:00am to 5:00pm
  • Thursday, August 27: 9:00am to 5:00pm
  • Friday, August 28: 9:00am to 12:00pm

Secure drop box for mail-in voting ballots is located in front of Needham Town Hall

Dover

Early Voting Location: Dover Town House, 5 Springdale Ave, Dover, MA

  • Tuesday, August 25: 9:00am to 4:00pm
  • Wednesday, August 26: 9:00am to 3:00pm
  • Thursday, August 27: 9:00am to 4:00pm, 5:30pm to 8:00pm
  • Friday, August 28: 9:00am to 1:00pm

Secure drop box for mail-in voting ballots is located in the semicircle in front of Dover Town House.

Medfield

Early Voting Location: Medfield Town Hall, 459 Main Street, Medfield, MA

  • Tuesday, August 25: 8:30am to 7:30pm
  • Wednesday, August 26: 8:30am to 4:30pm
  • Thursday, August 27: 8:30am to 4:30pm
  • Friday, August 28: 8:30am to 1:30pm
