Today, the House and Senate approved a $15 million supplemental budget to assist the state’s response to the ongoing outbreak of COVID19. This funding would support the Commonwealth’s monitoring, treatment, containment, public awareness and prevention efforts against the 2019 novel coronavirus by the department of public health, regional and local boards of health and other public agencies.

Amid growing concerns surrounding COVID-19, I want to share with you all an update from the Department of Public Health that is issued daily:

In Massachusetts, there is a total of 108 cases of COVID-19. Out of that number, 6 have been confirmed by the CDC and 102 are presumptive positive cases.
