Dear Friends and Neighbors,
This week I joined my colleagues in the House to vote in the affirmative on An Act driving clean energy and offshore wind. This sweeping bill is a transformational step forward and establishes Massachusetts as the leader in clean energy through a robust offshore wind program, advancements in solar energy, storage, and grid readiness, and building decarbonization. The bill also creates a 10-municipality demonstration project that will allow all-electric building construction by local option while expanding and codifying the state’s MOR-EV electric vehicle incentive program into statute.
I am proud the Massachusetts Legislature continues its strong commitment to our climate goals as laid out in the 2050 roadmap bill. I would like to share with you a communication from the Speaker of the House of Representatives’ office that explains the bill in greater detail. You can view it by clicking here.
Yours in Service,
Denise
